Apache Burden Basket

Have you heard of the Apache burden basket?

It’s a part of Native American culture with profound meaning behind it. It is a burden baskets carried by the women when they are working outside. They put the basket near the entrance of the house, leaving their burdens before entering the home. I love the symbolism behind checking out our mental obligations before entering the home every day, which is somewhat similar to sage-ing or keeping a Guatemalan doll beside your bedside.

How about you? Do you have a daily ritual to keep your worries at bay?

Still, on the same topic, I recently acquired Aventurine crystal and been carrying it everywhere and every day. Aventurine is believed to be the luckiest crystal of all and who wouldn’t want some good luck on their side?
