Radiant Rider Waite Smith Tarot

Yeah, I am considering the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck which I have called a little boring earlier. I would never consider it has I not seen it used by a tarot classmate of mime. The color really, truly pops in a way that I really truly like. But I don’t like that it comes in a tin box, I never like the cold feeling I get whenever I need to open the tin box when I am going to do the reading. I disassociate from the coldness. It would be an easy addition, in a way of the symbols is so basic and universal that it would be good as a base to learn about tarot. I can google the information required anything. It would be a good comparison with my current one. The original vs. The modified.

The problem is:

1. I don’t like RWS tarot deck images and

2. I already have the travel size, which I was forced to buy (which I might give it to others). After the first deck, in the span of a year, I acquired a small collection of tarot decks, which includes a mini size Rider Waite Smith tarot deck.

In the tarot class, the teacher required us to get the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck because it has been used as a teaching base in many books and classes. At first, I was like ugh! I didn’t like being “forced” to get a particular deck, especially one I couldn’t relate to. Then one day, I drew The Sun card from my The Everyday Witch Tarot deck which was represented by three dancing women. Since I didn’t really get the message, I tried to compare it with the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck, which portrays a baby instead. It clicked right away, as I was on my way to meet my niece.

I have since understood the benefit of the classic Rider Waite Smith tarot deck, especially at the times when I need further clarification of my cards.

Strength card: Fine. Good. I like that she has the infinity symbol which the witch in every witch is missing.
